This is what Beijing looks like this morning:
I was supposed to go with Bill to a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) appointment (for his back pain), but I decided not to go. Why should two people breathe this stuff in when one is too many? As of right now, the pollution index is about 342 which is “severely polluted.” Take a look at this Air Quality Standard Chart, and you’ll sort of see what I mean:
As I kissed Bill goodbye, sending him into the smog-filled air, I handed him his face mask.
I understand. I live in Los Angeles, which is not so polluted any more, but since I have a rare lung disease, even the Yellow days force me to stay indoors. I am glad you aren’t there any longer.
Hi Channon, lately the Chinese government is taking more measures to reduce pollution, so I expect that one day, Beijing and many other Chinese cities will see much improvement like LA and other western cities. Thanks for your comment and dropping by!
